The North Apothecary Loft (Suite 500) is a 3,300 square foot loft gracing the north half of the fifth floor of The Apothecary Building at 140 N. 8th Street, in the heart of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District.
The North Apothecary Loft is offered on a unique basis—we do NOT bundle the food and beverage with the room, which is what you will find with other venues. When you book an event in the North Apothecary Loft, you will receive complete control over the food and beverage catering—thus allowing you to save thousands of dollars compared to other venues.
We offer a “wedding package” in the Apothecary Lofts. For example, many bridal parties have hosted a number of events here, including:
1. Rehearsal dinner,
2. Sleepover/bachelorette party for the bride and her friends (envious grooms often book the South Apothecary Loft and have their own pre-wedding night before),
3. Location to prepare for the wedding,
4. Pre-wedding brunch,
5. Wedding ceremony (or host outdoors in the Haymarket Square Courtyard),
6. Wedding reception,
7. Wedding night accommodations for the bride and groom (to enjoy the beautiful amenities such as the whirlpool and fireplace),
8. Gift opening brunch the morning following the wedding.

The South Apothecary Loft (Suite 501) is a 2,700 square foot loft gracing the south half of the fifth floor of The Apothecary Building at 140 N. 8th Street, in the heart of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District.
As with The North Apothecary Loft, The South Apothecary Loft is also offered on the same unique basis—we do NOT bundle the food and beverage with the room. The Ridnour Room is an elegant yet spacious 7,000 square foot reception facility in the heart of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District at 8th and P Streets. The Ridnour Room is located on the first floor of the Ridnour Plaza with a formal grand entrance in the beautiful Apothecary Lobby at 140 N. 8th Street. The Ridnour Room is known as one of Lincoln’s premier reception facilities combining the charm and character of Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket with elegance and comfort for a variety of occasions.
The Ridnour Room provides a large formal great room with seating up to 285, complete with lighted fichus (ficus) trees, outstanding acoustics and projector system, a large dance floor with a built in DJ booth, LED lighting with the ability to chose your own colored setting, a large kitchen and adjacent room for a double buffet line dinner set-up, and a centralized built in beverage area with a beautiful granite top.
We provide you the flexibility to select any caterer to fit your taste and budget or we can handle all the details for a hassle free event. We also offer the option for you to self-cater your special occasion…all at no additional cost! No matter which package you select, we will ensure that your special day is the way you dream it to be.
We provide elegant round tables and beautiful upholstered chairs and for your convenience have rental items such as heavy cotton linens, arches, pillars, and centerpieces available. Our Event Coordinator will assist you with all the details and we will set up the facility in any way you desire. Our facilities, flexibility and service are unmatched by others.

The Ridnour Room is within walking distance of downtown hotels and many restaurants. The Charter Oak Parking Lot behind the Ridnour Plaza building and the Western Supply Parking Lot located a block away, may also be reserved for your event.
